I highly highly recommend these bookshelfs. I have had paradigm, definitive and jbl before these and none matched the accuracy and depth field. turn the lights off and you'll think you're pushing two floorstanding speakers. note: these speakers need to be driven with a continuous 75+ watt current for best performance and they take about 20 hours to fully break in. i'm running them off a vintage yamaha integrated amplifier. i couldn't be more pleased with these speakers. don't be fooled by the low price - these will be coveted speakers in 15 years. i listen to classical, electronic, acoustic, indie rock, jazz and these speakers are enjoyable in all formats. get 'em!

I bought these because they were discounted by 85 percent or something. I thought, well, if they could sell them at $200 more than they might be for me. I was using two larger Sony full towers, but they really took up too much space in my condo, so I took a chance on these. Just as much sound, (as advertised)and better quality if you ask me. I am not a sound engineer or expert. Like most people, I like what I like, but can't tell you the why tweeter "tweets" and the woofer "woofs" but only that it gives me great sound, saved me an amazing amount of money and gave me the footprint I wanted. I did google the brand and speaker and it alwasy came up A+ or 9 out of 10 or 5 stars. It gets a handful of stars from me!

What a powerful sound in such a small speaker. Bang ... Boom! Crisp highs and strong bass. Nevermind Polk, Bose or Sony. If it's not Klipsch or Yamaha, I'm not interested.
